About Us

We are a group of epidemiologists, social scientists, psychologists, and biostatisticians who share a common vision in advocating for health research.

Funding

Samarth was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act,1975,Tamil Nadu Act of 1975 certificate number 240/2007 dated 11th March 2008.

Samarth has been granted an exemption under 12AA Tax Act DIT(E)No.2(1855)07-08 dated 31 July 2008. Samarth has also obtained exemption u/s 80G(5) of Income Tax Act 1,1961 vide letter number 264.

Samarth has been registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 with the Registration number 075820400 dated 07 June 2011, for carrying out social and Behavioral research. The FCRA has since been renewed for a period of five years with effect from 01.11.2016.
